1930 - 2014

Wynema L. Simpson, beloved mother and grandmother passed away October 5, 2014 peacefully at the home of her son, Craig.

Born September 21, 1930, Nephi, Utah to Charles Rodger Lunt and Pearl Wynema Stephensen Lunt.  Married Armand E. Proulx, later divorced, David S. Robertson, later divorced and widowed by Boyd M. Simpson.

Wynema was an avid Horseman, was a drill mistress for Silver Spurs and loved deer hunting with her sons for many years until her health wouldn't let her continue.  She worked her entire life supporting her children as an X-ray Technician at the Tooele Army Depot and at the Veterans Hospital.  She played Cornet and French Horn in the marching band at the University of Utah.

Survived by sons, Craig L Proulx and Bruce S. Robertson and many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by sister, Connie Downward, son, Shaun M. Simpson and grandson, Cory C. Proulx.

Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Riverton City Cemetery, 1500 W 13200 S, Riverton, UT.  A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
