Toan Quang Vu was born in Da Nang, Vietnam to Taylor and Lucy Vu on March 3, 1963. As a child (at age 12), he and his family moved to Orem, Utah as refugees of the Vietnam War. Toan and his wife, Julie were married on May 7, 1994 and their son Trenton was born on May 9, 1999.
Toan was a mechanic at a family run and well loved auto shop in San Jose, California for 25 years. Toan loved remote control cars and helicopters, fishing, and fast cars. He is remembered and loved for his boisterous personality, his sense of humor, and his signature phrase at family meals "Let's eat!"
He is survived and remembered by his parents, Trieu (Taylor) Vu, La (Lucy) Khong Vu; wife,
Julie Weaver Vu; son, Trenton Vu; brothers, Trung Vu and Tom Vu; sisters, Anh Tuyet Vu, Pearl Vu, and Rose Vu and many nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be held on Friday, January 27 from 11-11:45 a.m. at the LDS Chapel at 2666 W. 7000 S. in West Jordan, Utah, with the funeral service begining at 12pm.  I
nterment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
