Sherry LaRue Carter Brewer
1933 -2015

Sherry LaRue Brewer, 82, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, passed away September 16, 2015.

Sherry was born June 1933 in Fountain Green, Utah to Stanley Elmer and Hazel Adele Carter. She graduated from Moroni High School. She married Don J Brewer on August 10, 1951 in Moroni, Utah and was later sealed in the Logan Temple. He preceded her in death in May 2009.

Sherry loved painting ceramics and had a ceramic shop in her home for many years.  She enjoyed planning family parties, camping at Echo Reservoir, crafting, and excelled in floral design. She is a member of the LDS church and held many callings in relief society and primary. She was very proud of her Moroni heritage.

Survived by her children: Debra (Kelly) Park, Patricia (Lary) Ravenberg, Michael (Stacie) Brewer, son-in-law John Rubens; 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; sisters Gwen Gowers and Kathryn Rosenlund. She was preceded in death by husband, daughter Marilynn Rubens, sisters: Bonnie Johnson, and Grace Suzanne who died shortly after birth.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 21, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Greenfield Chapel, 6634 S. Greenfield Way (1920 E).  Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd (7600 S). Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South.
