Ryan Lee Johnson

August 14, 1965 — March 30, 2023

Ryan Lee Johnson, our loving son, brother, uncle and friend, age 57, passed away on March 30th, 2023.
Born August 14th, 1965 (year of the Rabbit), in Salt Lake City, UT, to Dennis Lee Johnson and Rosalyn Dean.  Ryan had 4 sisters (Tari, Jacci, Kelly and Dana), and 1 brother (Ben).  His family misses him dearly.
Ryan grew up in a family active in church, camping, basketball, tennis and more.  Tennis was his favorite and he excelled in the sport.  Even though he was good enough to beat his parents at an early age, he never did out of respect (like a parent letting their child win in hide and seek).
Ryan was a giver.  He never possessed anything for long because there was always a family member or stranger that he felt would appreciate it more.
Ryan was happiest when exploring riverbeds, or going on long walks, with his nieces and nephews.  He brought so much joy to the children.  They are all heartbroken that Ryan has moved on.
Survived by his father Dennis Lee Johnson, his older sisters, Tari Slizewski and Jacci Bacon (Jim), his younger sisters, Kelly Gieber and Dana Zygmunt (Steve), and younger brother Benjamin Johnson (Katy).  He is also survived by nephews, Rudy Slizewski (Oluyinka), Cody Bacon, Josh Bacon (Laura), James Bacon, Evan Gieber, Jammin Gieber (Samatha), and Brandon Bruschke, and nieces, Katie Slizewski (Luke Dean), Kasey Hepworth, (Mason), Berkeley Tilford (Erik), Madison Davis (Taylor), Nicole Bruschke, Riley Johnson and Emma Johnson, great nephews, Tabor Slizewski, Dami Slizewski and Jetson Bacon, his great nieces, Nylah Dean, Maisy Dean, Ayo Dean, Quinn Hepworth, Tessa Hepworth, Ellie Hepworth, Jordyn Bacon, Summer Gieber, Talia Zygmunt and Mia Zygmunt.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rosalyn Dean Johnson, and brother-in-law, Mike Slizewski.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at 11:00 am at LDS Meetinghouse, 6890 S. Whitmore Way, Cottonwood Heights, UT. 84121.  Cannon Mortuary Funeral Directors.
