Rosemarie Heasley, beloved Wife, Mom, Grandmother and Sister, passed away May 27, 2016 of ovarian cancer.

Born October 1, 1936, Mount Pleasant, PA to John and Helen Byers.  Married David Heasley on November 21, 1964, Wilkinsburg, PA.

Rosemarie loved music.  She was Choir Director for Blessed Sacrament and St. Thomas More Catholic Church choirs and sang in both choirs for many years.  She also originated and directed the Glee Club at the Sandy Senior Center and was an active member of Assistance League of Salt Lake City and served as Chairman of Act III for two years, a choral group that entertains in assisted living and memory care facilities throughout the valley.

Rosemarie worked at Mervyn’s Department Store, opened and closed the Mervyn’s in Salt Lake and worked in between for 11 years at the Mervyn’s in Dallas, earning employee of the month and employee of the year several times.

Survived by husband David Heasley, children Mark (Heidi) Heasley, Michael Heasley, Brian (Marybeth) Heasley; grandchildren, Sarah, Keb, Sunny, Amanda, Kaleb, Sienna.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2016 at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) from 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday May 31, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 East Creek Road (7900 S.)
