Rodney “Reggie” Stone

1971-2017

Rodney “Reggie” Devon Stone passed away September 20, 2017 at home in New York, New York, after a long illness.   Born January 26, 1971, San Jose, California to Devon M. and Linda B. Stone.

Graduated from Brighton High School and was All-State in football and took 2nd in state wrestling.  He was an Eagle Scout.  Reggie attended Dixie College on a scholarship.  His work took him to Las Vegas, Florida and to the Dominican Republic where he met the love of his life Emiliana "Adiane".  They married on March 14, 2005 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.   Work took them to Chile, Dominican Republic, Florida and then finally ending up in New York City.  Their son Ryan was born while they were in Chile.

Reggie was known to his family as the big “Teddy Bear”.  He was a devoted husband and father.  Friends knew him for his loyalty and his hard work.

Survived by wife, Emiliana "Adiane", children, Nicole and Ryan, parents, Devon and Linda Stone; siblings, Robert (Luciane) Stone, Sandra (Martin) D’Arcy, Richard (Melanie) Stone, Annette Stone, Aaron (Caroline) Stone, Jessica Stone and Jennifer (Brian) Lahman.

Graveside services on Saturday, September 30, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at the Preston Cemetery, Preston, Idaho.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of His Life, Saturday, 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Marriott University Park, 480 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, Utah.
