Linda and Dick were parents to Matthew Richard Blair.
Dick worked in sales his entire life and retired from Peerless Beauty Supply in 1988. Following his retirement he volunteered at Cottonwood Heights Elementary School. He worked in the Boy Scouts of America program. As a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dick particularly enjoyed his callings as the Ward librarian, the Ward blood coordinator, the Sacrament Meeting greeter, and Ward nursery leader.
Dick was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club and enjoyed restoring antique cars. Stamp collecting and coin collecting were life-long hobbies. He was also a member of

he Salt Lake Orchid Society.

ick is survived by his wife, Linda, his sons Rick and Matt, his siblings Dorothy Graber, Janice Triplette, and Randy Blair Carlton, two grandchildren, and two great-

randchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Wayne, Joyce, Douglas, Mike, Buddy, Donald, and Pauline.

uneral services will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11 am at the Brighton Second Ward, 3001 East Bengal Blvd. Friends may call at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East Bengal Blvd. (7600 South) Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the Brighton Second Ward. Interment will
