Our beautiful, sweet mama, wife, grandma, sister, aunt and dear friend, Patricia Jane Werner Kindred, was born on March 24, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank and Vida Mae Werner. She grew up in Sugarhouse with her parents and older brother, Robby. She married the love of her life, Curt Kindred, on August 25, 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they raised their 5 children and built a beautiful life full of love and memories. Patsy came into this world with a spirit full of goodness, charity and integrity. She was genuinely invested in everyone she came in contact with, freely offering compliments, thoughtful gifts, heartfelt notes, and asking questions that left everyone feeling better and more valued just by being in her presence. She loved time with her family, laughing, crafting, sewing, quilting, shopping, gardening, Christmas, getting her nails done and lunches with friends. She had a soft spot for animals and owned, loved, and spoiled many pets throughout her life. Pat had a true love for her Savior Jesus Christ and emulated His love in the way that she served and treated others. She left this world surrounded by so much love from her children and husband after a brave, courageous and valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Until her last days on Earth, she wore her beautiful smile, offered compliments, graciously thanked everyone, and gave so much love to all who visited or took care of her. She is survived by her sweetheart, Curt, her 5 children: Janie (Mike) Rossberg, Julie (Darin) Newell, Laurie (Jamis Nelson) Kindred, Jeff (Larissa) Kindred and Kellie (Greg) Snarr, 14 grandchildren and her brother Rob (Linda) Werner. She was preceded in death by her parents and parents in law. We want to offer our most sincere thanks to the staff at The Ridge Cottonwood and to our Harmony Hospice dream team Shannon and Lisa for the love, care and dignity they gave to our mama until the very end. We are so grateful. Until we meet again Mama, watch over us! We love you.
