Nanette Shea

Our wonderful mom, Nanette Anderson Shea, passed away peacefully May 27th 2023 at 95 years of age. She was born December 20, 1927 to Mabel Spence Robinson and Howard T. Anderson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married William C. Shea in 1947 while attending school at the University of Utah. Although they later divorced, they always remained supportive and amicable. Jess Gregor was her friend and companion for 40 years.

She was an extraordinary, fun, adventurous woman who showed her love, support and sacrifice for her family throughout her life. In her 50 year career as an X Ray Technician, she shared her work ethics, competence and caring for her patients. She was the E.R. department’s favorite resource. “Muzz” was a California girl growing up in Long Beach and living most of her life in Southern California. She loved the beach and sailed out of Newport Harbor for many years stopping at the Crab Cooker for a bowl of chowder. She loved art, music, travel and hot fudge sundaes. We will miss her always. She was the foundation of our family.

She is survived by her 3 children, David H. Shea, Robbin Shea Bonham, Marcy Shea-Boren and grandchildren, Bethany Lopez, Daniel Shea Lopez and Aimee Shea Lopez. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
