Michael A Cannon

Michael Antoine Cannon aka Green Eyes was born in Chicago, IL on November 3rd, 1968. The oldest child of 3 from Cecilia Brewton and the only child from Hayward Johnson, raised by Jerry Brewton. Michael moved to Salt Lake City, UT to join his family in 1984. He attended South High School where he graduated in the class of 86. 

Michael worked numerous jobs in the construction field.

Michael married his lifelong partner Katrina Cannon on June 11th, 2009. He is a beloved father of 7 kids to Jasmine Cannon, Steven Cannon, Marcus Cannon, Kiana Cannon, Maurice Womble, Michael Womble, and Martin Womble.Siblings to Shaun Hamilton (Emanule Hamilton) and Jermaine Cannon (Ana Cannon). His grandchildren are Amari, Milayah, Michael Prince, Charli, Kehlani, Zariyah, Ezekiel, and Zakarri. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Michael passed away unexpectedly on March 23^rd, 2023 at the age of 54.  He is preceded in death by Cecilia Brewton, Hayward Johnson, and Jermaine Cannon Jr.  

Funeral services will be held, Monday, April 3rd, 2023, 6:00 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) Salt Lake City, Utah  84121 with a visitation prior to service from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
