Mark B Huffaker, loving husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 27th, at age 69, of AML Leukemia. He passed peacefully in his home, surrounded by his wife, Christine, sister-in-law, children, grandchildren, and cat, Buddy.
Born July 26th, 1953, in Midway to parents Calvin Grant Huffaker and Georgia Mae Huffaker, Mark grew up in Midway, Utah, until he was 4 years old when his family moved to Dillon, Montana. There, Mark grew up as a hard-working and athletic child; he eventually earned a brown belt in Karate and won a State Championship in wrestling for Beaverhead County Highschool.
Mark was a hard worker dedicated to spreading joy and service to everyone he came in contact with. He always put others above himself, jumping at the opportunity to serve his friends, family, and neighbors whenever he had the chance.
At his business, Mark’s Maintenance and Installation, he prioritized maintaining fair and exceptional business practices. As a father, Mark ensured his children always had what they needed; he taught them how to be hard-working and kind. Mark instilled his love for camping and travel in all his children.
Mark's jovial and gentle spirit sparked joy in the hearts of those lucky to meet him. He could always be counted on to make those around him laugh, even until the very end.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mark served his mission in London, England, where he formed a testimony that remained unwavering throughout his life. During his life, Mark served in countless callings, including roles in the Bishopric, but his most cherished callings were those with the youth, where he could share his love of the gospel with the children and young men and women in their church.
Mark is survived by his loving wife Christine, children Christopher, Nick (Shauna), Tyeson (Adriana), Celeste (Mike), Amber, and Tara; and Grandchildren Nia, Katrina, Hallie, Kylee, Maddi, and Easton.
