Delores Marjorie Askew Taylor, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away October 13, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born February 3, 1927, Salt Lake City, Utah to William J. and Gertrude Trezona Askew. Married Bob Taylor, June 18, 1947.
Marge graduated from South High School and went on to attend the University of Utah. She was the office manager of Brasher Auto Auction.
She loved spending time with her family camping and sitting around the campfire. She enjoyed skiing, riding her dirt bike and golfing and was in the paper for making a hole in one. She was a supporter of family and was the first with a helping hand. Marge loved to travel and enjoyed cruising. She cruised to Alaska, but her favorite was through the Panama Canal.
Survived by, children, Leslie (Craig) Smith, Pat (Mike) Bowden, Rob (Brenda), 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, October 18, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.). A visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at Cannon Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and the day of the service from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.
