Lois Terry

Lois passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87. She was born in Lehi, Utah to Arthur Douglas Willes and Zina Johnson Willes. She had an older sister Laurel Willes Thorne (deceased).

Lois grew up on a farm and loved being outside. She attended local schools and graduated from Lehi High School. She had a group of dear friends, she remained close to throughout her life.

Lois married the love of her life, Joseph “Chad” Terry on June 8, 1951, in her parent’s home. They raised three boys and a girl, Doug (Tricia), Craig (Kimmy), Joel (deceased), Lisa (Chris) Jensen.

Lois was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.

Lois and Chad raised their family in Kearns and Taylorsville, Utah. Lois was feisty, fun and full of life. She was loved by all and she will be missed deeply.

Lois had 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by granddaughter Ashley Terry.

We are very grateful to Ashby Hospice for the love and care of our beloved mother.

There will be no services. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
