A fighter, a lover, a positive thinker, her own style.
Confidant, an instigator, a somewhat wild child.
A single mother, oldest daughter and big sister for awhile.
Our many faceted Kym was strong and determined to deal with all of her many life struggles.
A positive outlook and hope on each shoulder gave her knowledge that one day things would get better.
Kym was unique and voiced her thoughts and feelings never being afraid how she was thought of.
So opened minded and non judgmental offering as much advice as you wanted.
Every person who’s life she touched has countless stories about this woman named Kym that’s spelled with a “Y".
She was charismatic and a hoot to be with yet sometimes mysteriously making you wonder what she would do next!
Friends and family will miss her leaving a hole where her presence will never be filled.
Our rare spirit who has now gone to rest has finally found her peace and that better place to rest.

Kym Austin, our funny and witty mother, daughter and sister, passed away in Bountiful, Utah, Sunday afternoon after fighting Lupus for many years.
Kym was born August 1, 1974 in Santa Barbara, California to Robert Michael Austin and Terry Hendrickson.
Kym is survived by husband, Eugene Bey; devoted daughter, Taylor Austin, age 23; mother, Terry Austin; sisters, Candace Austin and Lindsey Lambert.

We miss her and are joyful for her as she continues her journey, painless and free.  Thank you for the unforgettable memories Kym.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.)  from 6:00 - 7:00.  A Celebration of Life will be held following the visitation at 7:00 p.m.
