Kenner C. Christiansen
July 2, 1926 - December 11, 2014
Kenner C. Christiansen, our adored father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 88 on December 11, 2014. He was born to Cleo Crowther Christiansen and Roy O. Christiansen in Fountain Green, Utah. The only son of a sheep herder and farmer, he was his father’s right hand man. Kenner served our country in Germany during World War II. When he returned, he married the girl of his dreams, dancing partner and love of his life, Patsy Lou Seely of Mt. Pleasant, Utah on September 9, 1949.
Kenner worked at Swift & Company in Ogden, Utah as a Feed Yard Manager followed by a twenty-one year career as a Federal Meat Inspector for the US Department of Agriculture. He enjoyed raising sheep herding dogs in his spare time, as well as serving in various LDS church callings. He was well respected in his profession; however the greatest accomplishments in his life were his four cherished children, Kenner Brent Christiansen (Debbie), Lewis Kim Christiansen, Ellen Sue Santy (Gary) and Lynette Sahleen (Mark).
He is survived by all of his children as well as sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, and his sister Royce Draper. Kenner is now reunited with his sweetheart Patsy, whom he has deeply longed for since her passing. He is also reunited with his great grandchild Danielle Helen Christiansen, his parents and his sister LaRue Shaw.
