Jo Ann Gaddis Webb

Jo Ann Gaddis Webb, 79, returned to the presence of her loving Heavenly Father on July 23, 2011.  Jo Ann was born September 1, 1931 to Cassius Crawford and Ethel May Smuin Gaddis in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She graduated from East High School.  Later she graduated from the University of Utah majoring in Elementary Education and is an avid Ute fan. Jo Ann married her eternal companion Gerald C. Webb in the Logan LDS Temple on December 20, 1955.  They were blessed with four children:  Bruce, Christine, Connie, and Brian.  A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints;  Jo Ann served in many capacities.

Jo Ann retired from teaching in the Jordan School District in 1991 after inspiring hundreds of children.  She was a member of the Jordan Education Association.  Jo Ann loved to paint and read; but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Survived by her children Bruce (Renee), Christine, Connie (Jeff ) Robbins, and Brian (Sheralyn) and ten grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald, and brother Robert.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Draper Second Ward Building located at 1617 East 12700 Draper, Utah.  A viewing will be at Cannon Mortuary located at 2460 Bengal Blvd. (7600 South) Salt Lake City on July 26, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from10:00 to 10: 45 a.m.  Interment Murray City Cemetery.
