Jeffrey Woodbury

Jeff fought a fier y battle against leukemia cancer, Parkinson's, a deadly disease (MSA) Multiple Symptoms Atrophy and on Xmas Eve December 24, 2013, a hemorrhage stroke. What once was Jeff's normal life and everyday living turned into an incomprehensive world of medicines, chemotherapy, r epeated dosage of injections.

On the afternoon of May 5, 2014, he went to heaven, reunited with our beloved Aussie pooch named 'DOC’.

Jeff was the former General Manager for the Traffic Division of Airwatch Traffic, Inc for Clear Channel Radio B r oadcasting Company. He built this operat i on from sc r atch, established a very unique working re l ationship w i th UDOT and v endors.  Jeff worked wi t h the engineers to deve l op the broadcast technology and studio equipmen t to launch the traf f ic network. He hired, t r ained every employee a n d manager and this traffic u n i t was responsible for millions in annual sales revenues. Jeff's ability to managed expenses, consec u tively produced highes t operating margins within the entire organization was remarkable. Jeff was a hard working p r ofessiona l that understands how to build and operate a prof i table enterprise. With Jeff, what you see was what you get .

Jeff was a courageous man, he never gave up hope. His determination and st r ength were admi r able. If you knew Jeff like we knew him, he had a charming, dynamic personali t y and a beaut i ful smi l e . He was a fun a n d very funny person that when he walked into a room, he made the atmosphere l ively. Jeff was an a v i d gol f er a n d an awesome skier . Our fi r s t ski trip was to Mary Jane Ski Resort in Stea m boat Springs , Colorado, he inadvertently took me to a 'bunny slope' t urned out to be an intermediate run, it was one of those ha-ha moments. Je ff loved the outdoor activities, biking, hiking, fishing, camping and river rafting. He al s o loved to BBQ and burger fl i ppi n g was his thing. He called himself "Big Daddy " . Jeff h ad a good run. He wi l l a l ways leave an inde l ible mark in our hearts.

Sur v ived by his wife, Melony, daughter, Katelin and son-in-law Tim, daughter, Raque l and son-in- l aw, Arthur , b rothe r La n ce, s i s-in-law, Brenda, nephews, Aaron and Adam .

Friends an d family are invited to an informal memorial remembrance on May 9 , 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 (adjacent to the Canyon View Elementary School).  At the end of the gravesi d e service, the re l ease o f w h ite doves t o symbo l ize the st r ength and free spirit as ou r way to remember J eff always .
