Janice Ebert Wilde
1948 – 2013

Janice Ebert Wilde loving wife, mother and grandmother found peace and comfort on November 11, 2013.  Born January 25, 1948 in Murray, Utah to Glen Andrew and Stella Lougee Ebert.  While dragging State Street she found the love of her life, Elmon Andrus Wilde, and they were married.

Janice is an accomplished gardener working on the design and maintenance of world class gardens. She is a Gold Key Scholar with a bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture.  An avid fan of Real Salt Lake, recreational soccer, dance, piano, gymnastics, baseball or anything her children and grandchildren were involved in. Her life revolved around working hard, giving service wherever needed and teaching by example.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, visiting teacher, neighbor and friend. She often said “my job isn’t to judge but to help” and lived by those words.  She is a fox with Woodbadge beads and as her children would attest she was just awesome!

Janice was preceded by her mother Stella and one grandson, survived by her husband, Elmon; father, Glenn; three brothers and three sisters, her children, Anthony (Sandria), Donavin (Kristen), Jeremy, Justin (Kristin), Janel (Boyd), Amy (Scott), Brad and 24 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Crescent Ridge 3 rd Ward, 10975 South Prescott Drive (1650 East), with a visitation prior to service from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m.   Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the loving care of Janice and support to the family by Pine Mountain Healthcare and Hospice.
