Janice Vesta Kingston

– Janice, 52, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister passed away Thursday April 9th, 2020 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 29th, 1968 in Salt Lake City to Isabell Johnson. Her life was her family and serving others. She was a wonderful teacher and mentor, helping those around her to reach their maximum potential. She taught her children the importance of education and assisted them in obtaining degrees in business, law, and engineering. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking, running, camping, scuba-diving, and sports. Janice was a coach for a girl’s little league softball team and took first place nearly every year. She obtained multiple certifications in scuba-diving and dove in many locations throughout the world. She enjoyed assisting her husband in trooping activities with the 501st Legion helping him suit up as Boba Fett or a Stormtrooper. She completed multiple half-marathons and 5K races. Living a healthy balanced life was very important to her and she inspired those around her to do the same. She also loved quilting and made blankets for all of her children and grand-children.
She was a spiritual pillar of strength to all who knew her and spent her life in service to others. All who knew her loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her beloved husband who was her life-long sweetheart, her 16 children, her numerous grandchildren, and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16th 2020 10:00 a.m. at Damon Palmer, 1880 West Parkway Blvd (2495 S.). A viewing was held Wednesday, April 15th 2020 at the same location from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service from 8:30 to 9:45 am.
