Jack Simper

On August 1, 2021, our beloved Jack Larry Simper, 74, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family after a year long journey with pancreatic cancer.

Jack was born November 22, 1946 in Logan, UT to Lorin and Viola Simper. He married Dana Ferguson on January 18, 1974 in Salt Lake City, and together they had three children. He was an incredible man and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Dana, daughter Libby (Kelly) Clement, daughter Bryn (Chris) Cook, son Andy (Alicia) Simper, 9 grandchildren - Jackson, Mia, Maddie, Drew, Kate, Sophie, Charlie, Liv, and Jensen. Brothers Dick and Dale, sister Julee, a loving extended family, and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents - Lorin & Viola, brother Dennis and best friend Steve.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.). In lieu of flowers spend time with family, go on a hike, or ride a motorcycle.
