She also served in Relief Society; Irene was a visiting teacher at the time of her passing. She was an example to us all in enduring to the end, for she always found the good when there was none to be found. Irene truly lived a Christ centered life, and made sure her family knew how important the gospel was to her. She had a gift of making everyone she encountered feel special and loved. She had a large family, but somehow found time to make special memories with each one of us. Now, we will cherish the memories we have made with our dear mother, and grandmother, and wait for the day we can be reunited again.
