Geneil Miller Butler

Geneil Miller Butler, 91, passed away 14 May 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Geneil was born 2 July 1923 in Penrose, Utah, to Alice Rosina Rohwer and George Lewis Miller. She married Richard Marsh Butler 4 September 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Richard passed away 15 December 1984. Geneil gave active service in the LDS church throughout her life including serving as a temple worker in the Los Angeles Temple for many years. She was a member of California Utah Women and a longtime resident of Riverside, California where she was an avid member of the Rose Society and Board Member for Riverside Civic Ballet. Geneil attended LDS Business College and was an employee of the Church Education System for twenty years. She is survived by her four children: Richard (Gigi Doty), Tucson; Christine (Ron) Anderson, Salt Lake City; Marcia (Steve) McCutchan, Sandy; Craig (Anna), Provo; and by 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Geneil is also survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Later in her life, Geneil married Odell B. Bradshaw of Lima Ohio; he, too, predeceased her. Following a graveside service Tuesday, May 19, interment will be in the Garland City Cemetery, Garland, Utah.
