Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Eva Anne Parris Hagman passed away peacefully on December 14, 2013 at her home.

Born December 10, 1934 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Orien R. and Annie Mae Bethune Parris.  Moved to Salt Lake City in 1947 and graduated from Granite High School.  Married to Jack “Gil” Hagman on February 13, 1954.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George, Utah Temple.  Gil passed away April 27, 1988.

Mom was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving many positions through the years. Also a longtime resident of Cedar City, Utah, where she and her husband ran Hagman Insurance.

Being grandma and adoringly called “GG” by her great grandchilden was mom’s greatest joy in life.

Survived by children, Richard (Darlene), Debbie (Whit) Corbitt, Lynn (Steve Flaim), John (Tory), Wendy Sue Mitchell, Ed (Denise), Cy (Denise); 19 grandchildren, 29+ great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild;  sisters, Jean (Steve) Smith, and Jane Smith; sisters-in-law, Carol Parris, Sandra Parris, Sandra Von Foller and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by son, Jeffery, brothers, Dan and Allen, brother-in-law, Wayne Smith.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.   Funeral services will be held, Friday, December 20, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Midvale 1st Ward, 308 West 7500 South with visitation that day at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.  Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
