Douglas Ray White

Douglas Ray White, loving husband, father and grandfather, age 69, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on April 13, 2013.
Born December 17, 1944, Provo, Utah to Kelly William White and Catherine Jane Crawford White. Married Shirleen Diane Perry on June 23, 1974 in Salt Lake City and were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on December 29, 1978.
Doug served in the United States Air force, and worked in law enforcement most of his life, retiring from the state of Utah Security Forces for the Air National Guard. Recently was working for Paragon Security and Royal Woods. He was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed collecting hats, Crosspens and law enforcement accessories. Guns were his hobby. He liked to roller-skate, draw, read and most of all spending time with his family.
Survived by his wife, Shirleen, children, Gidget Morris, Todd white, Tami Bramlett, Kristofor White, Anastasia Darrington, Shawnin White, Charles White, Cameo White, Tyler White, Amanda White and Sterling White; 21 grandchildren with one on the way and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the West Point Chapel, 5180 West 4700 South, with a visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to service at the church. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah
