Donald Glen Morgan

Donald Glen Morgan, age 81, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on January 23, 2025.

 Don was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 16, 1943 to Glen W. and Margaret Noble Morgan. He graduated from Highland High School, earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Utah, and spent over 50 years serving the Utah Department of Corrections. Don's strength of character and lively sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. He enjoyed connecting with his Scottish and Irish heritage through music, playing bagpipes and the Celtic flute in his free time.

Well-loved at work and in his personal life, Don was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, LuJean, children Steve and Kirsten (Anne), and grandchildren Emily and Vincent.

His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to The INN Between for being so incredibly compassionate and providing an atmosphere for Don to spend his final days in peace and comfort.

 All public services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brighton Point Ward, on 3455 Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.  Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30th from 6-8 PM, with an additional viewing from 12-12:45 PM before the funeral service on Friday. Services will take place on Friday, January 31st at 1 PM. Don will then be laid to rest in a private burial at Mountain View cemetery.
