Don Leo Castleton
September 23, 1930 – March16, 2011
Don was a wonderful, vivacious man full of life! Those who knew him would say he was one of the most generous people they knew. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need.
He served in the Utah Air National Guard in the Korean War from 1950-1953. He was the successful owner of Castleton's Tree Service and serviced many throughout the community. He was funny and could crack a smile out of anyone including the toughest of souls. He was so kind and generous, while his children were growing up many of their friends would say he was like a Father to them too. He was an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoyed spending his free time at the Cottonwood
Country Club. He also enjoyed vacationing in tropical places with his children. We would like to think he is currently golfing
i
n his own tropical paradise.
His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered at his favorite golf course, he will also have a plot in the Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery
.
He always insisted that there be a celebration of his life instead of a funeral
