Dennis Lacy, Jr.

With heavy hearts, and deep sadness we announce the passing of Dennis Winferd Lacy Jr. 58, who was taken from us too soon and unexpectedly on Saturday May 25, 2024 in Murray, Utah.

Dennis was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 20, 1965 to Dennis Lacy Sr. and Joyce Lacy~Gould. He grew up in Cottonwood Heights, Utah and attended Brighton High School. Later in life (1996) he moved to Miami, Florida then to Key West Florida. Dennis moved back to Utah in 2022 to be close to his mother before her passing. 

Dennis was definitely one of a kind with his extremely unique personality, amazing sense of humor, always making jokes, he made life fun for all those who knew him and brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart and radiant smile.

Dennis loved the ocean and the beaches. He loved music, entertainment, and concerts. Barbra Streisand, for one, was his idol of many. He loved art and had an extreme talent for decorating.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Lacy~Gould and her husband David Clark Gould, and his Fur Baby Boy Bello whom he loved beyond measure.

Dennis is survived by his father Dennis Winferd (Gloria) Lacy Sr., his three sisters Robin Lacy, Kelly Reese, and Kriss Lacy ~ Lowe, 4 nieces and 3 nephews whom he loved dearly.

We will all miss him more than words can express. Dennis you will be forever missed.
