Darlene Lamb, 87, passed away on Wednesday September 30, 2020 in her home surrounded by those who loved and adored her. Darlene was born on October 16, 1932 to Richard and Lois Davis in Garland, Utah. She graduated from Bear River High School. She married the love of her life Lamont Lamb in theLogan Utah Temple on December 1, 1950.
Darlene was an amazing woman. She was always teaching and leading. Those who best knew Darlene knew that she would always be there, and that she would be willing and able to help. She showed her love to her Father in Heaven and neighbors through her various church callings. Lamont and Darlene served two church missions: one in Tonga and the other at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Darlene had an ability to hear the needs of those around her and found that she was most happy when serving others.
Darlene loved being surrounded by her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always looked forward to spending time with her family and she made sure that each family member knew how much she loved them. She was a great example to her family and friends, and we all find great comfort in knowing that she had an unwavering faith in her Father in Heaven and His Plan of Happiness. We know that she has been reunited with her two sons, Rodney and David, and we know that because of Our Savior Jesus Christ, families are forever.
Darlene is proceeded in death by her parents, her brothers Richard and Robert, and her two sons Rodney and David. She is survived by her husband Lamont, daughter Julie, son-in-law Hal, daughter-in-law Janice, brothers Hugh and Joseph, sisters Roxey and Bette, 8 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
