Corinne Talaeai

Corinne Fait Talaeai, our loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away on July 31, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Corinne was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 30, 1979 to Howard and Kathryn Fait.

She graduated from Tooele High School and moved to Salt Lake where she met the love of her life, Rod Talaeai. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her three children, Kaylani, Ava, and Jax.

Corinne was her kids’ number one fan. With a coffee in hand, Saturday’s were spent jamming out in the car, driving from soccer to football to basketball games.

She valued the simple things in life, and never took a moment for granted. All she ever wanted was “to love, and to be loved” and her actions spoke louder than words. Corinne was the member of her family who made sure holidays and birthdays were spent together. We will continue these traditions, but her contagious laugh, funny humor, quick-witted, inappropriate jokes, big ginormous long lasting hugs, and her bright blue beautiful sunflower eyes along with her naturally gorgeous blonde curly hair, will be incredibly missed.

Corinne is survived by her husband, children, parents, siblings: Jodi, Brian, Gregory, James and Joseph, along with lots of nieces, nephews, and friends who deeply loved and adored her.

The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude and appreciation to the Huntsman Cancer Institute Team as well as the Huntsman At Home Nurses who gave Corinne the best care throughout her courageous fight with this ugly disease.
