Cherie Dawn Williams Guiver, our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, 82, passed away December 3, 2014 at Sandy Rehabilitation of natural causes.

Born December 18, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Doris Frost and Cleo Doyle Williams.  Married Douglas Gordon Guiver on November 3, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  He passed away August 23, 1969.

Cherie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings, The Ladies Club, Ballroom and Square Dance Clubs.  She worked at Cottonwood Heights Elementary in the school lunch program and sold Avon.

Survived by daughters, Kathy Guiver, Cindy Ottenstein, Patti (Ed) Engel, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, sister, Faye Olson.  Preceded in death by son, Brian Douglas Guiver, sisters, Shirley  Johnson and Doris Kay.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) with a visitation prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.  Interment Lake Hills Cemetery, Sandy, Utah.
