Charles “Aaron” Larsen, age 38, of West Valley City, UT, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2022 after recently being diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer.
Aaron was born on November 10, 1984 to Daniel and Margaret Larsen in Salt Lake City, UT. Aaron is survived by his loving wife Raquel Larsen of eleven years; and his children, Jonathan, Logan, Haden, Aralyn, Liam, Faith, and his unborn daughter expected this spring. Aaron will be forever cherished and remembered by his twelve siblings, Ammon, Jared, Dorothy, Hannah, Elizabeth (Deceased), Dawn, Michael, Solomon, Kathryn, Amanda, Bonnie, and Kristine.
After graduating with his PhD in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Utah, Aaron started his career in Biotechnology and Genetics at United Bio-Research Inc. His many accomplishments in both human and agricultural genetics have revolutionized genetic sequencing and data interpretation. Aaron’s legacy will carry on forever within the scientific community and he will be deeply missed by his friends and colleagues.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at 1880 Parkway Blvd, West Valley City, UT 84119.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, January 4th from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM, at the place of service.
