Our beloved, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt, passed away on June 18, 2014 in Petaluma, CA.
Born January 18, 1959 in Salt Lake City, UT to Alonzo A VomBaur Jr. and Elida Vela VomBaur.

Carrie was a loving mother and grandmother and was most happy when surrounded by them.  She was also independent and had many unique and creative talents.  She enjoyed crafts and was able to sew clothes for her children without a pattern.  She was also her own handyman and was by all accounts a culinary genius.  She weathered many storms but had an uncanny way of bouncing back with her sense of humor intact.  She had a kind and extraordinary generous side that caused her to open her doors to many in need during her life. This kindness was extended by her love for animals as well.  Carrie's spirit and love for life were as big as her heart.  We will miss her love and her laughter.

She is survived by her sons, daughter, mother, brother, sisters and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, June 26, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest 9th Ward, 915 East 9045 South, Sandy, Utah.  A visitation will be held prior to service at the church from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.  Interment Crescent Cemetery.
