June B. Perry passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2012. Born June 16, 1924, in Provo, Utah, the ninth of nine children to James W. and Emily Ness Betteridge. She was raised in the Millcreek area of Salt Lake County.
June graduated from Granite High School, where she met her eternal companion, Robert A. Perry, Jr. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 22, 1948. They made their home in Cottonwood Heights. She served in many callings in the Butler 4th Ward and Butler West Stake, and volunteered service to the community in many capacities.
She is survived by her favorite oldest daughter, Kathleen, her favorite middle daughter, JoAnn (Carlos) Madsen, and her favorite youngest daughter, Susan (Glen) Harrison, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and close family friend, Billie Pardoe.
The family would like to express appreciation to the many aides and caregivers who provided assistance in her final months. Funeral to be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Butler 4th Ward chapel, 6634 So. Greenfield Way, (1920 E) Cottonwood Heights, Utah, with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
