BRUCE CLYDE BEACH

06/21/1938-7/10/2011

June 21 st , 1938 a little boy was born to Clyde and Verda Beach in Salina, Utah. He loved life and taking care of his family to the fullest. Dad was a loving and caring husband to his sweetheart and soul-mate of 52 years, DeAnna, who he met at a dance on New Year’s Eve. It was love at first sight. It continued to flourish through letters from January to July while he was serving his country. He arrived home to marry his best friend on August 5 th , 1959, and was later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple.

They had their first child, Brenda Ann, who was born February 27 th , 1962, a second baby followed, Barry Bruce. Their family was now complete, but unfortunately Brenda only stayed with them for two short years when she returned to heaven unexpectedly. Nineteen months later Jeffery Clyde arrived followed by Jody Dee, Jeremy A., Brady Elmer, and then a surprise baby girl to complete their family, Jan.

Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening, and home projects. He was always so proud of his yard and garden. He was employed for over 30 years at Consolidated Freightways in management. He was a devoted member of the LDS church where he served various callings throughout the years including; financial clerk, scout leader, executive secretary, Elders quorum president, High priest group leader, and many others.

He dedicated his life to his family, and enjoyed every second he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved spending time at Fish Lake, so much so, that he spent each summer there with his sweetheart, after retirement. Sharing his passions and creating memories with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was truly heaven on earth for him.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15 th , 2011, 12:30 at the Wasatch 5 th Ward Chapel, 8100 S. Top of the World Drive, Cottonwood Heights, UT.
