Beverly Blunck

Our beloved mother and wife Beverly Claire (Stoddard) Blunck passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 in her home in Cottonwood Heights Utah at age 86.  She was born in Rexburg Idaho on October 30, 1935 to her parents Calvin and LaVinna Stoddard.  She grew up with 4 siblings. She married and was sealed to Leo Garry Blunck July 31, 1957 in the Idaho Falls Temple.  They raised 3 children in Cottonwood Heights.

Beverly will be remembered for her generosity and selfless service in many church callings and with family and friends.  She was an example of dedication to the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Beverly enjoyed her time catering at the Old Meeting House reception center and met some of her dearest lifelong friends.  One of her highlight experiences was serving with her husband in the Athens Greece Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband Leo Garry Blunck and her children Kelly Olsen (Lance), Mark Blunck (Buffy), Stefanie Anderson (David), siblings Ron (Elaine), Julie, 12 grandchildren Camron, Allie, Landon, Amanda, Katie, Devin, Autumn, Ellie, Drake, Izzy, Zeb, Emmie and 4 great-grandchildren Dexter, Lilly, Jack, Violet and 2 more on the way.   Preceded in death by her brothers Gary (Gail) and Clayne (Bess).

There will be a viewing on Friday July 29, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 am followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 2895 East Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights.  Graveside services at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery on 3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights.
