Bette was born in Dodge City, Kansas to Charles and Myrtle Wall. Her family moved to Riverside California where she met and married the love of her life, Donald H. Brown on November 23, 1946. Bette served her life caring for and teaching children. She was a teacher’s aide at Palm Elementary School in California and Stansbury Elementary School in West Valley City, Utah.
Bette was an inspiration to all who knew her, always a kind word to say, always giving of herself, always a beautiful smile.
She is survived by her loving husband Don, her daughters Donna (Tom) Jorgensen, Susan (Chris) Roraback, grandchildren Adam and Peter, her sister Norma, and nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Per Bette’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held in the spring when the flowers are in bloom. Close friends and family will be notified. A special thank you to the staff at the Huntsman Cancer Center and Hearts for Hospice for their caring and support.
