Evelyn LaVona Beth Stephens Owen, our beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in the caring hands of loved ones on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the age of 64. She was born June 26, 1951 in Price, Utah to Arnold Lorenzo Stoddard and LaVona Rugg. Her loyalty to her husband was endlessly perfect and eternal. She gave her children the gift of an enduring love for their father. She spent her life in dedicated service of our Heavenly Father and those around her. She was the perfect mother and took great pride and joy in her large family. She loved stage performances, programs, music, dances, and watching her kids play ball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell. She is survived by countless family and friends, including her sister, Lorna, and her 15 children; Elden, Valerie, Elaine, Wendy, Jared, Sally, Julieanne, Miles, Valaytte, James, Evelynn, Dean, Ren, Wade, and Jean. She will be missed, loved, and forever remembered by all who knew her. We bid her farewell as she reunites with loved ones and begins her exciting journey in the next life. Her favorite number was 343. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at LDCJC, 1880 West, Parkway Boulevard, West Valley City, Utah. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at LDCJC and the day of the service 9-10 a.m.
