Rebecca (Becky) Chaston Grow, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother (age 71), passed away on June 12, 2021 peacefully at home. She was born on June 29, 1949 in Salt Lake City to Victor and LaRee Chaston. She married Ray Grow on November 21, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings over her lifetime where she brought joy and a spirit of selfless service to many people both in and outside of the church and where she built some of her most meaningful friendships. Becky loved crocheting, quilting, knitting, shopping, playing games, especially Bonco, but most of all, Becky loved people. Her projects often went to family and friends, and at one point, she made a quilt for the General Relief Society President. Becky made her life about service and thoughtfulness of others.  She and her contagious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Becky is survived by her husband Ray Grow, her children Chris Grow (Katrina) and Candy Swallom (Ryan), siblings Brent Chaston (Sheila), Marsha Chaston, Jeff Chaston, Mike Chaston (Dawn), Steve Chaston (Diana), Susan Strebel (Tim), Vala Andersen (Marlon), and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Grandchildren: Joseph Swallom, Abigail Swallom, Bethany Swallom, Kaitlyn Grow, James Swallom, Trevor Grow, Mary Emma Swallom, Makenna Grow and Miley Grow.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and LaRee Chaston, parents’ in-law, Chuck and Myra Grow, brother Doug Chaston, sister-in-law, Diane Chaston, brother-in-law, Roger Grow and some of her beloved nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at Cannon Mortuary, located 2460 E Bengal Blvd. (7600 S) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at Yorkshire Dr. (4200 W) and Skye Drive (9800 S) in South Jordan. Burial services to follow at Memorial Mountain View cemetery 3115 E. Bengal Blvd. (7800S).
