Oh, what a wonderful son and brother! Austen Bryan Goins passed away at the early age of 24, unexpectedly. Austen was born March 5, 1991 along with his twin sister Kelly Goins.
Austen had spent the last seven years fighting addiction and felt he was inches away from recovery. Everyone was caught off-guard because Austen was doing so well. He had just completed his associate’s degree at Weber State and was working part-time at Associated Foods.
If you met Austen, you would remember he was always smiling, kidding and would bend over backwards with his kindness and great manners.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survived by father, Bryan W. Goins and twin-sister, Kelly L. Goins and lots of family and friends. He will be buried next to his mother, Debbie Goins. A service will be held Monday, June 1, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) with a visitation prior to service from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.
