June 9, 1966 – April 8, 2016

Our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend Andrea Dawn Barlow passed from this world, to the next, on Friday, April 8, 2016. Andrea (Annie to her nieces), is one of those special souls who passed from us far too young, and far too soon. Throughout her life, Andrea overcame many challenges, which made her one of the strongest people those of us who knew and loved her will ever know. When Andrea was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, she refused to give up, or give in, and instead chose to live a life surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and love. Those who knew her undoubtedly have countless fond memories of Andrea, and we hope that you will draw comfort from these memories, and take them forward with you into your lives. Andrea would want you to know that she loved each and every one of you, and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Andrea was received on the other side by her son Kyle Lambrose, who like Andrea, left us far too young this past August. She is survived by her sons Anthony Joseph Clos, and Sean Fitzgerald Clos, mother Annette Clos, sister Melissa Billings (Q Wade), her grandchildren, Destiny, Alizae, Mac, and Izaac. Her “sister from another mister” Marvann Chatterton, nieces Kyliegh and Megan Billings and many, many cousins (this IS Utah after all), all of whom have been touched by Andrea’s sweet spirit and nature in one way or another. In lieu of flowers, Andrea’s family would urge you to make a donation in Andrea’s name to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation, whose work in the area of mental illness, bipolar disorder specifically, is renowned around the globe. Our wish for you is that you remember Andrea as the sweet, loving, funny, beautiful person she was, and the many sweet and joyful times we had with her while she was with us.
