Adrianne Lee (Libby) Krier

May 6, 1943 — January 21, 2023

Adrianne Lee Krier, our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 79, as a result of health complications and recent stroke. She passed surrounded by her children, their spouses and a couple of grandchildren at her side.

Born May 6, 1943, to Jack and Tobey (Schiermeister) Krier in Palo Alto, California, Adrianne was the 4th of 5 children. As a teen Adrianne was a part of the Rainbow for Girls Masonic order. She graduated from the Oregon College of Education in 1965 and went on to teach public school for 10 years. She married Charles Robert Libby in 1965, and became the mother of two children during their time together. She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 17, 1968. Because of her conversion experience, missionary work always held a very meaningful place in her heart. Adrianne was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings and capacities throughout her life.

Adrianne spent 29 years of her life as a successful businesswoman and owner of her own advertising firm.  She was an incorrigible animal lover and found fulfillment in their companionship. Adrianne was an accomplished writer, public speaker, seamstress, and tap dancer – her creativity was rivaled only by her ability to consistently turn lemons into lemonade in her life.

Adrianne is survived by her two children, Lindsay (John) Brunt and Aaron (Krysti) Libby; ten grandchildren, Max and Jessica Brunt, Aaron Whitney, Jacob Amulek, Mary Esther, Seth Paul, Micah Charles, Gideon Thomas, Samuel Magnus, and Eve Hope Libby, one great-grandchild, Sawyer, with two more great-grandchildren coming June and August 2023. She is also survived by three siblings: Del, Dennis, and David (Mary Jane) Krier. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Jack and Tobey, and older sister, Margaret Saucy.

The family is grateful for the care and compassion Adrianne was shown by her daughter-in-law Krysti Libby, Enhabit Hospice and Sunridge Assisted Living in West Jordan. Specific thanks to Briana, Tonya, Valerie and Kelly. She loved you all. Also, a special thanks to the Cougar Lane Branch while she was living at Sunridge.
