Ada June Miller was born August 24,1943 in Twin Falls Idaho. She passed away January 2, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was survived by a sister, Beverly Cloward and two grand nieces.
Ada June was raised in Blackfoot, Idaho where she helped her parents in their case implement company. She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1961. She attended Idaho State university and graduated with a degree in business.
Her degree in business lead her to open her first business, Quality Personnel, in Salt Lake. After several years she wanted a change. She started an advertising business. She traveled the Northwest selling advertisement and loved it.
Her love of travel lead her to Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She loved New Zealand and visited many times. She would have moved there if not for her family, friends and dogs in the United States.
She retired several times but always ended up working again. She finally sold her home in Draper, Utah around 1998. She bought a 5th wheel and new truck and traveled the US for the next 20 years. Quite an accomplishment for a single, non-rearing woman. She always had her dogs for company, at least 3-4 at a time.
Ada June loved the countryside whether it was walking through the forest or climbing in the desert. She was a true environmentalist before that was even a word used. She spent hours cleaning litter along the roadside.
She never met a person she didn’t like, but she was an animal lover and animal rights lover and would take on anyone she saw abusing them.
She quit traveling in 2018 and returned to Salt Lake.
She was an amazing woman and a faithful friend and will be greatly missed by all.
